what does your gift
of STEAM mean?

This holiday we want to share the pride and possibilities of invention with kids who might not have access to great tools that can bring their big ideas to life.

In your name and in the spirit of your creativity, an open-source library of littleBits has been given to a school classroom of future makers. These crazy, fun electronic modules snap together with tiny magnets for prototyping, learning, and discovering in the world of STEAM.

With your gift they will play, snap, build, make and take apart. They will test, tinker, hatch and invent.

Because of you, some great kids will get to make something that does something, and this can make all the difference in how they see the world, how they see themselves and how we just might see the future.

what are littleBits?

littleBits makes an opensource library of electronic modules that snap together with tiny magnets for prototyping, learning, and fun.

littleBits consists of tiny circuit-boards with specific functions engineered to snap together with magnets. No soldering, no wiring, no programming, just snap together for prototyping, learning and fun. Each bit has a specific function (light, sound, sensors, buttons, thresholds, pulse, motors, etc), and modules snap to make larger circuits. Just as LEGO™ allows you to create complex structures with very little engineering knowledge, littleBits are small, simple, intuitive, blocks that make creating with sophisticated electronics a matter of snapping small magnets together.
